Patrick Lain\u00e9 is the current owner. The vineyard, certified for organic production since 2013, spans 11 hectares. It is located in Entre-deux-Mers, not far from Butte de Launay, the highest point in Gironde.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>WHERE? <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Bordeaux Sup\u00e9rieur appellation is part of the Bordeaux region in France, which includes Ch\u00e2teau Lassime and its 1 cuv\u00e9e. It comprises 80% red wines, as well as 11% white wines and 9% ros\u00e9. This region produces 6 million hectoliters annually (80% red wines + white wines (dry, sweet, and fortified), clairet, and cr\u00e9mant ros\u00e9s). Lassime&#8217;s grapes include Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, and Petit Verdot.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>WHY?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Another excellent label from Chateau Lassime. On the nose, we immediately find black fruit, ranging from blackcurrant to wild blackberry. On the palate, it&#8217;s full of energy, with a beautiful fruit structure.
