WHO? <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Bruno Rocca took over the family business from his father in 1978. After taking over, he started bottling wine and soon established himself as one of the best producers in Barbaresco, primarily due to his vineyards in the esteemed location of Rabaj\u00e0 hill. Today, Bruno runs a 15-hectare estate with his daughter Luisa and son Francesco, producing around 65,000 bottles in total.<\/p>\n

WHERE? <\/strong><\/h3>\n

The young Nebbiolo vines, in Bruno Rocca’s own vineyards, yielded the fruit for this wine. The vines, aged 6 to 7 years, stretch across the vineyard on the Barbaresco hill, between the towns of Barbaresco and Neive, in the Langhe region. The soil is characterized by white and blue marl and layers of sand – rich in limestone and microelements ideal for Nebbiolo.<\/p>\n

WHY?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

“Fral\u00f9” by Bruno Rocca is an excellent Nebbiolo. Those familiar with Langhe know that Bruno Rocca has become a benchmark, a family always dedicated to wine and maintaining their peasant origins. Originally, the grapes were vinified to produce wines to be sold in large quantities to customers visiting the winery, but with Bruno Rocca taking over the winery in 1978, the family winery turned to bottling wine. Thus, the foundation of Langhe oenology was laid, giving us this “Fral\u00f9”, Nebbiolo made from grapes from the youngest vineyards, aged between 6 and 7 years, and left to macerate in steel for 7-10 days to preserve the bouquet of fresh fruit and characteristic freshness.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

Aged in French oak barrels for 8-12 months, this wine becomes beautifully textured, harmonious, and enjoyable Nebbiolo with a rich and intense fruit bouquet highlighted by raspberry and black cherry.
